Norfolk Wedding Photographer Hillier James
Welcome to Hillier James Photography. My name is Adam and I am a Norfolk wedding photographer covering Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex, East Anglia and weddings all over the UK. If you are searching for a wedding photographer then it’s a pretty safe bet congratulations are in order! What an exciting time this must be. You’re probably keen just to have a look at my work and check out my wedding packages, or read a bit about me to see if I would be a good fit for your day and what you’re planning, so I won’t keep you too long reading blurb! But there are just a couple of key points about my style and service that I feel are worth highlighting.
I am very much what is becoming more commonly known as a ‘reportage’ or documentary style photographer. Put simply that means I do minimal posing. I want you to feel as relaxed as possible and above all to have fun! I like to capture things as they happen naturally and the best way I’ve found to do that is to blend in as best I can, go with the flow of the day and shoot anything and everything in sight. My goal with every wedding is simple; tell the story of the day as accurately as I can and capture as many of the special moments that make your wedding day uniquely yours. You can view some other people’s stories on my blog where you can see some of latest weddings.
My editing style is subtle, to ensure your photos are timeless and will still look fresh and current in years to come. I provide a mixture of colour and black and white images and I avoid at all costs cheap photoshop tricks like spot colour or colour popping as it is also known. I’m afraid you’ll also never see a dinosaur chasing a wedding party across a lawn; but what you will get is natural and real moments, captured discreetly with minimal disruption to your day. If by the end of the day you are left wondering if I was even there, then I have achieved my goal (don’t worry, I will actually be there, you just hopefully won’t notice me much!)
