Hello! I normally leave my reviews of the year until the end of the year or should I say the beginning of the following year. That’s mainly because I never normally have time during the season to do any blogging, but through chance and convenience of bookings, I find myself with a rare fortnight off in the middle of the season and after a seriously busy 3 months prior, it is much appreciated! There is another reason for my eagerness to share some of my favourite images of the season so far and that is simply that 2017, or what we have had of it so far, has been an absolute screamer for weddings! I’ve worked at some beautiful venues, many of which for the first time and all of which I hope to return to soon. One thing that strikes me and continues to surprise me is there is an endless amount of stunning Norfolk wedding venues, which is where I tend to shoot the bulk of my weddings. But it is not just Norfolk that peaks my attention; Essex boasts some grand settings and I always love the chance to go a bit further afield and work somewhere new. And let’s not forgot amongst the miles of rolling countryside there are many hidden gems in Suffolk also, not to mention some beautiful back gardens for those intimate DIY weddings.
Below you will see a random selection taken from across all of the weddings I have shot so far in 2017. The year started off with a bang and a stunning ceremony in Ely Cathedral before heading off to the Red Barn Norfolk for a Spring reception. That was back in March and since then I have had the pleasure of shooting at Oxnead Hall, Somerleyton Hall, Maidens Barn in Essex, Ivy House Country Hotel, Weald Country Park, Hush Venues Postwick, Batemans Barn, The Norfolk Mead, Bruisyard Hall, and my old stomping ground and the most local venue to me, White Dove Barns on the Marsh Farm estate, to name but a few.
Whilst I am taking this moment to have a breather, it’s also worth mentioning that 2018 is getting very full now so if you are getting married in 2018 and interested in hiring my services, now is the time to get in touch!
