Ok, I’ll admit it’s not like weddings went away completely in 2020 but it sure felt like it. While 2021 was not without its restrictions and compromises, as the year went on a sense of normality returned to weddings and boy did it feel good. That said, every wedding, be it 20 people. 30 people or a 100 people, still felt amazing to be happening at all and they were all truly special for it.
Every year I get to return to some of my favourite venues to shoot, such as Henham Barns, The Norfolk Mead, Suffolk Barn and Lynford Hall hotel to name a few. And also every year I am treated to fantastic new venues to me that I’ve wanted to shoot for some time. Namely Fishley Hall and the beautiful tucked away and unique Keeper and the Dell. 2022 is jammed packed and soon to kick off so without further ado (and because I realised it’s February and I am already late doing this post), here are just some of my highlights of a wonderful 2021 wedding season.
Oh, actually, quick shout out to my team of wonderful second shooters last year, Tim Wood, Steve Mulvey, Lucy Toms and Charlie Campey. I am very lucky (and so are my couples) to be have such talented professionals accompany me on my wedding shoots.
