Chaucer Barn Wedding- Natalie and Andrew

In 2022 I got to visit some stunning Norfolk wedding venues, and Chaucer Barn was pretty high up on my wish list. Natalie and Andrew had their Chaucer barn wedding back in June and it was everything I was hoping for and more. One thing I didn’t appreciate before I went was just how big the grounds are! Natalie and Andrew chose to have an outdoor ceremony with a celebrant and the bridal procession from the barn to the ceremony was just about the longest and most impressive I have ever had the pleasure of capturing, in my ten years so far on this wonderful wedding photography journey, proceeding through rose gardens, long grass meadows, tree lined avenues and eventually arriving at a beautiful woodland clearing for the ceremony.

It was then back to the barn gardens for drinks, photos, fun and games and we even managed to steal the happy couple away for a few quiet moments and some photos in the stunning Chaucer Barn grounds. I am a huge fan of this place and will definitely be looking forward to returning there again soon with any luck!

With me on this one was my great friend and trusted second shooter, Pete Denness, who’s combination of dry humour, charming smile and a cracking eye for capturing beautiful candid images, makes him the perfect person to have at my side. As always I have included some of Pete’s images in this blog to demonstrate the value of having two of us present for the day, not that you will be able to tell who shot what, and that’s also the point!

If you or anyone you know is planning a wedding and are interested in having me along to capture your the day, please do get in touch, I’d love to hear from you.
