Georgia and Pat- An English country garden wedding

Every wedding I have the pleasure of attending and photographing offers something unique; it’s what keeps the job so enjoyable, the never ending variety. And sometimes, it is simply the simplicity of a wedding that holds the charm. Take Georgia and Pat’s wedding; held in a family home, albeit a very grand family home, but a simple affair with a traditional church ceremony, in the church that has marked many occasions for the family, both happy and sad, followed by a garden reception and a meal in a marquee. Not overthought or shrouded in a theme, just beautifully elegant, timeless and so perfectly set amongst a wonderful English country garden, which could have easily been the setting for the Darling buds of May.

Accompanying me on this one was me ol mucker Andrew Kahumbu, who has become quite the regular and trusted side kick and with whom I very much enjoy working with and will do so again for the forthcoming season. Some of Andy’s contributions are found in this post because, well, they were too good to leave out, such is the value of Andy.
