We can all agree that collectively, as a nation, as a planet, we are facing one of the toughest challenges in our generation, in the form of the dreaded COVID-19 virus or Coronavirus as it is otherwise known. People all over the world are facing huge challenges and devastating loss. I, like you (hopefully), are staying firmly at home during this trying time and doing my part to help stem the spread of this vial disease. But, in doing so I am acutely aware that this year, for the first time in a decade, I will not be venturing out to capture lots of wonderful weddings this summer…and that makes me very sad. Sad because however disappointed I am, I know there are countless couples up and down the country that are facing the prospect of not only delaying their much anticipated weddings (some are years in the planning), but also the prospect of having to go through the long process of arranging suppliers again! Now in a perfect world all suppliers and venues would have the same dates free for rescheduling; but, as COVID-19 is so aptly demonstrating, this is not a perfect world. And so, many couple’s are faced with losing certain suppliers and in many cases their booking fees as well.

To be clear I am not condemning the practice of keeping booking fees…my policy is the same. Booking fees are often taken months if not years in advance, already taxed, already accounted for and as per most photographer’s contracts, are non-refundable. That being said in light of the current situation, it was brought to my attention by a friend of mine recently who was in the very position of losing his photographer and with it a £300 booking fee. It got me thinking how I could do more to help couple’s like him and his fiancé. And so I came up with this special offer, which, while is probably small consolation, can hopefully help with the financial burden of rescheduling a wedding and maybe raise a small smile in the process. If I do have to keep a booking fee myself, hopefully this little offer is a way of paying it forward…

So, the offer…

-Book your wedding with me and receive my £1695 full day package, with two photographers, discounted by the same amount as the booking fee you have lost to your previous photographer, up to a value of £300

– Available for any dates October- April or any dates excluding Saturdays May-September

– Proof of booking fee paid will be needed, only available against full day packages

– No booking fee required to secure your date, however a £300 cancellation charge will apply for weddings  cancelled more than 4 weeks prior to the wedding date or 100% of the balance will be due if cancelled within 4 weeks of the wedding. You will be required to sign my Terms and Conditions to secure your date, which outline payment and cancellation terms.

Now that’s something to cheer about……
