Getting married in a castle probably figures in many a young girl’s dreams, but for me to shoot a wedding in a castle I thought I would have to travel far and wide. That was until Norwich registry office was moved to Norwich Castle to conduct weddings; yes I thought, now I may have a chance to shoot a Norwich Castle wedding. I didn’t have to wait very long before Helen contacted me about shooting her wedding to Bill at Norwich castle. This was a slightly unusual one for me as Helen and Bill decided they only wanted a couple of hours coverage. Being a Friday I was more than happy to oblige and I actually relished the challenge of still being able to narrate the story of their wedding in such a short amount of time. Lucky for me these guys were super laid back and smiley, which makes everything easy and when you throw in a stunning castle, over looking a beautiful city, some lovely guests and a bluebird day, you have a recipe for some great photos!
