Wingfield Barn Wedding Photography- Lianne and Simon

Back in June I had the privilege of shooting at the beautiful Winfield Barn, Suffolk for the lovely wedding of Lianne and Simon. The weather held out (for the most part) and the lucky couple were even blessed with a warm summer sunset.

Lianne spent the morning getting ready at a family home in Beccles. It as an excited atmosphere with loads going and people running about everywhere. It wasn’t long before it was off to Wingfield Barn, which lies in the beautiful Waveney Valley, just inside the Suffolk border. Winfield Barns is a pretty unique venue with a beautifully restored timber framed barn, surrounded by a series of studios and galleries. Which such a lovely space to put their stamp on Lianne and Simon went all out with a lovely colourful theme of paper flowers.

With Simon waiting patiently at a pub near by, Lianne and the bridesmaids were applying their final last touches in the a lovely high vaulted ceiling bridal prep room on site at the venue. The couple married at the venue and then made their way out on to the lawn for champagne and photos. The rain threatened a few times but it didn’t dampen the spirits and the couple were more than up for exploring the grounds for some pictures on their own.

Once in the wedding breakfast, again loving decorated by the happy couple (with some help no doubt!) , it was all smiles for some comical speeches and some interesting photos from the couple’s childhoods! Lianne and Simon decided they wanted to have a photo booth for some fun photos once the party started and they certainly got just that!
